Susan Page Davis
Susan Page Davis is the author of several novels, including Book of the Year winner The Prisoner's Wife, and the Frasier Island suspense series. Releases for 2008 include two books with Love Inspired Suspense, and the Mainely Murder series, cozy mysteries written with daughter Megan Elaine Davis for Heartsong Presents: Mysteries. Look for a trio of historicals set in New Hampshire from Heartsong Presents.
She has also published several nonfiction articles in magazines, and her short stories have appeared in Woman's World, Grit, and Alfred Hitchcock's Mystery Magazine. Her children's fantasy novel, Feather, placed third in the general fiction category of the American Christian Fiction Writers' Book of the Year contest. Her historical, The Prisoner's Wife, not only won its BOTY category, but also won the short historical category in the 2007 Inspirational Readers' Choice Contest. Another historical, Wyoming Hoofbeats, placed third in the inspirational category of the 2007 More Than Magic Contest.
Susan's military-themed suspense books have been honored as book club selections. Books-A-Million chose Frasier Island for its Faithpoint Book Club, and Mardell's Bookstores also selected this book for their book club. Finding Marie was chosen as a book club read by Berean Bookstores and Crossings Book Club.
Susan is a native of Maine and lives there now with her husband, Jim. They have six children, ages 13 to 30, all home schooled, and all writers. Jim is an editor at a daily newspaper. Susan was named Favorite New Author of the Year at Heartsong Presents for 2004, and her first book, Protecting Amy, was named second favorite historical novel of the year. The Prisoner's Wife was favorite historical of 2006 at Heartsong.
