Serena Miller

Serena Miller decided to get serious about writing fiction while she was working as a court reporter and developed an overwhelming desire to compose a happy ending for each transcript she typed.

Her first introduction to the world of commercial writing came when she walked into a Detroit Romance Writers of America conference and heard the great Emma Merritt speak to an enthralled secular audience--using the Bible alone to illustrate the principals of good story-telling.

Serena and her minister/carpenter husband presently live in southern Ohio in an 1830's log cabin that has been in her family for five generations. When she isn't canning tomatoes, splitting firewood, shooing deer out of the blueberry bushes, or feeding grown sons who drop by daily to see if she's cooked anything good—she helps out with her husband's ministry and sings at the drop of a hat. Oh yes, and she writes all the happy endings she can.
