Bette Nordberg
Bette Nordberg has always been a writer; her stories circulated the teacher's lounge even in grade school. In spite of the evidence, she started her professional life as a physical therapist, specializing in rehab medicine. She switched to writing in 1990 when illness forced a career change. Since then, she has published five novels and numerous non-fiction projects.
Today, Bette and her husband Kim live in Puyallup, Washington, where they helped to plant Lighthouse Christian Center. They have four adult children — two still completing college. Bette teaches Christian Growth classes and writes drama for her church. She is a frequent teacher at writer's events, and speaks to women's groups all over the Northwest.
