Shane Stanford is a pastor, teacher and author. As host of Time that Makes the Difference, a radio and television ministry broadcast into 5 million homes weekly, and Salt and Light, an issues based radio program that focuses on Biblical principles for everyday life, Shane uses his story as an HIV positive, hemophiliac to engage the incredible potential of faith and hope for making life matter.

Shane is the author of three books including The Seven Next Words of Christ: Finding Hope in the Resurrection Sayings (Abingdon Press 2006) and The Eight Blessings: Re-Discovering the Beatitudes of Jesus (Abingdon Press March 2007). He has published articles and devotions in Worship Connection, Giving, Alive Now, and The Upper Room. He holds a graduate degree in theology from The Divinity School of Duke University.

Shane and his wife, Dr. Pokey Stanford, have three daughters, Sarai Grace, Juli Anna, and Emma Leigh. The Stanfords live in Petal, Mississippi. You can check out more at www.shanestanford.com.
